Adventures in Tranquility (AT) is dedicated to providing relaxation and stress reduction materials to help people lead calmer lives.
Our exercises are designed to pleasantly stimulate your imagination while providing healthful temporary relief from mental and physical stress. The components of AT exercises have been drawn from many sources, some ancient, others conceived in recent years by the authors and fellow stress reduction and relaxation practitioners.
Adventures in Tranquility is made up of the contributive offerings of two educators, Leonard Foote and Jonathan Sammartino, who have successfully put these kinds of exercises to use in their own lives, and who have helped many others to do the same in the course of their healthy lifestyle teaching.
For nearly a quarter-century, AT exercises were presented only in person without formal scripting. The exercises were shared worldwide with groups of various ages and sizes in the course of healthy lifestyle teaching. As presented now, all AT exercises are first-time recordings. It is our great pleasure to bring our exercises to you in the comfortably soothing way that they were presented to live audiences over the years.
